Description

The 2015 11/4 oz $8 Canadian Silver Bison is the first ever silver bullion coin of its size to be produced by the Royal Canadian Mint. These coins weigh 11/4 troy ounces and are minted with pure, .9999 fine silver. The 2015 11/4 oz Canadian Silver Bison Coin is available in Brilliant Uncirculated condition and is also being offered in its original mint sealed tubes of 20 coins or monster boxes of 400 coins. Featuring anti-counterfeit technology, thick dimensions and .9999 pure silver, the 2015 11/4 oz Canadian Silver Bison Coin makes for a secure and solid investment in silver bullion. The obverse of each coin features Susana Blunt’s right-facing portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. Above the queen, her name is stamped as “Elizabeth II.” Below the queen, the coin’s face value of “8 Dollars” is displayed. The background of the coin is complemented by repeating radial lines which give the coin a gray appearance. On the reverse of the coin, a lone North American Bison is shown front and center. The large animal appears to be galloping through an open plain with a tall ridge off in the distance. The coin’s silver purity of “9999” is stamped below the animal. Above the Bison, the country’s name and minting year are listed which reads: “Canada 2015.” Circling the bottom of the coin is the weight and the fineness which is listed in both English and French. This information reads: “Fine Silver 1 1/4 OZ Argent Pur.” Item Specifications: Contains 1.25 oz of .9999 pure silver. Available in Brilliant Uncirculated condition. Minted by the Royal Canadian Mint in Canada. Backed by the Canadian government for $8 CAN.
